So many flavors! Great little ice cream shop with tons of options to suit everyone's sweet tooth. Prompt service. Reasonable prices and delicious ice cream. What else do you need in life?

Best ice cream in town! Staff is friendly and quick! My go to is always cookie dough! Only gripe is that sometimes the cookie dough ice cream is inconsistent. Sometimes I score and get a bunch of cookie dough chunks and sometimes only 2 chunks in my double scoop. Regardless, will always come back because it’s delicious.

Went here after a hot trip to the zoo. Save your money from high prices at the zoo and come here to get a sweet treat! It's worth the wait! I got the strawberry cheesecake in a cup, and it was very good. Hubby got the waffle cone with coffee ice cream, and was also good.

This is my favorite ice cream place in Birmingham! They have many flavors to choose from, including at least 10 chocolate variations. I absolutely love the chocolate fudge brownie one, and the peanut butter chocolate is my second favorite. My husband tries a different flavor every time, and his favorites are the coffee, the banana pudding, and the apple strudel one. Their ice creams are always creamy and fresh tasting!

I don’t think I’ve ever been to a creamery where I had a hard time choosing which ice cream I wanted. Great selection; great hours and the neighborhood is quiet and quaint to walk around in. It was our first time here and I enjoyed it very much.

This place was in the perfect setting and had the perfect feel for a small town creamery. The waffle cone was huge and delicious. A true one.of a kind!!

The ice cream was awesome. I got the double scoop with C is for Cookie (Blue vanilla ice cream+cookies+cookie dough) and Superman (red/white/blue vanilla). The texture was very heavy with intense flavor. Highly recommend if you're in the area.

Real ice cream, not frozen yogurt. Had a cup with two scoops - peanut butter/chocolate and gold mine. Fast service and a great product. Enjoyed it.

This is a staple if your visiting from out of town or just in the area. Location is pretty small, but has an old school feel. Staff was overwhelmed by foot traffic when we got there, but they managed very well. Oh, and the ice cream is DELICIOUS!

Very pleasant. Was very crowded being a nice Sunday in June yet nobody was ill tempered or rude. Had just the right mix of old town charm and modern functionality.

This place is a great! It's a homey, cozy down-home ice cream parlor. The employees are all local youth, and they are very polite and helpful. The ice cream itself never disappoints, and they have ample flavors to choose from. Same goes for Edgewood Creamery in Homewood!

Wide selection of ice cream flavors, and the staff is friendly. The line was out the door when I arrived, but they quickly worked through it while maintaining politeness and being efficient in serving people. I've tried a few different flavors and they have all been delicious. Fantastic little ice cream parlor

The staff are super nice! The waffle cone I got was not very crisp - not sure if it was stale or under-cooked. Okay place, great for a hot day. Good cozy ice cream shop. I docked them a point for no strawberry ice cream but the chocolate I got was good. Make sure if you are allergic to peanuts you check your no nut ice cream carefully. My 15 year old got a random nut in his plain choc and we ended up in the ER. Kids running the shop were very helpful and concerned. Would have given them a five if they just had strawberry.

A local creamery in a European feel section of town. They offer a wide variety of flavors AND an entire section with different takes on chocolate.

It was my first time visiting Mountain Brook Creamery and I was not disappointed. The waffle cone was the most amazing I've had, but then I asked for two scoops of cake batter and it was the best combination ever. The staff was friendly & inviting, I cannot wait to return!!! Must try

Polite staff, moderate prices. I had the non-dairy strawberry. It was nice to have an option, but it could have been a little sweeter. Would go back if, I'm ever on that side of town.

Their icecream selections are incredible, so much to choose from! And for future reference, if you're a chocolate ice cream fan, go for the "Captain's Chocolate"!! Absolute best cup of ice cream I've ever had.
